Guidelines

EPH-IJBPS is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal publishing original research, reviews, short communications, and case studies in biological and pharmaceutical sciences. The journal follows a double-blind peer review process and operates under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) to promote unrestricted sharing of scientific knowledge. Manuscripts must be submitted through the online portal and adhere to the formatting and ethical standards detailed below.

1. Manuscript Submission

Submit your manuscript through the journal portal: Submission

Submissions must be:

  • Original and unpublished

  • Written in English

  • Not under review elsewhere

Accepted formats: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)

2. Article Types Accepted

3. Manuscript Structure

a. Title Page

  • Article title

  • Author names and affiliations (with city and country)

  • Corresponding author email

  • ORCID ID (optional)

b. Abstract

  • Word limit: 150–250 words

  • Structured format: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion

c. Keywords

  • 4–6 relevant keywords

d. Main Text (for original articles)

  • Introduction

  • Materials and Methods

  • Results

  • Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • Acknowledgments (if any)

  • Conflict of Interest

  • References

Review articles and case studies may follow a modified structure.

4. Formatting Guidelines

  • Font: Times New Roman, Size 12

  • Line Spacing: 1.5

  • Margins: 1 inch on all sides

  • Headings: Bold, clear hierarchy

  • Page Numbers: Bottom center

5. Figures and Tables

  • Number all figures and tables sequentially

  • Include descriptive titles/captions

  • Insert tables in editable format (not as images)

  • Images should be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi)

  • Cite all figures/tables in the main text

6. References

Use APA Style (7th Edition) consistently.

7. Ethical Guidelines

  • Manuscripts involving human or animal subjects must include ethical approval

  • Authors must declare any conflicts of interest

  • Plagiarism or data fabrication will result in rejection

  • All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools

8. Peer Review Process

EPH-IJBPS follows a double-blind peer review process:

  • Reviewed by two or more independent experts

  • Decision communicated within 2–4 weeks of submission

  • Revisions may be requested prior to acceptance

9. Article Processing Charges (APC)

EPH-IJBPS is an open-access journal and charges APCs upon acceptance:
